Elon Musk said he would attend a rally held by Donald Trump on Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, the site of the first assassination attempt against the former president.
Posting on his social platform X late Thursday New York time, the billionaire wrote, “I’ll be there to support you!” This was in response to a post about the Republican presidential candidate’s return to the field.

Musk, the chief executive of Tesla Inc. and SpaceX, has already poured millions of dollars into Trump’s third bid for the White House, and he has launched a super political action committee. He began spending $71 million primarily on election campaigns and field activities to win votes.
Trump’s rally at an amusement park in Butler, Pennsylvania, comes exactly one month before Election Day. At a rally there in July, a gunman’s bullet grazed his ear. The gunman killed firefighter Corey Comperatore and seriously injured two others while protecting his family.
An image of a bloodied President Trump standing up after the shooting, fist pumping, and mouthing “Fight!” became one of the campaign’s most iconic images, appearing on T-shirts, vehicles, and spread across social media.
