Dundee v Aberdeen
Dundee’s Jordan McGee is out with a calf injury, but fellow defender Clarke Robertson, new midfield signing Scott Fraser and forward Charlie Riley are in contention.
Joe Shaughnessy remains an extended absence.
Aberdeen could include forward Douku in their match-day squad for the first time this season, but midfielder Dante Polvara remains sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Heart of Midlothian v Ross County
Hearts right-back Gerard Taylor faces long-term layoff with a suspected ACL injury, so 19-year-old Adam Forrester is set to be promoted to the squad.
Centre-half Frankie Kent has returned from an ankle injury, but midfielder Karem Nieuwenhoff remains sidelined.
Ross County will be without defenders George Harmon, Ricky Ramey and Josh Reid, who is still recovering from a serious injury.
Kilmarnock v Dundee United
Kilmarnock defender Joe Wright will serve a three-match suspension, but midfielders Liam Donnelly and Brad Lyons will return.
Kyle Magennis is still working on his return from an extended absence.
Dundee United are only without right-back Ryan Strain.
Motherwell v St Mirren
Motherwell’s Stephen O’Donnell is expected to miss out with a shoulder injury, but fellow defenders Jonny Kutroumbis and Shane Blaney are close to returning.
Callum Slattery, Sam Nicholson, Harry Payton, Ross Callachan and Jack Vale are all long-term absentees.
Defender Sean Rooney missed St Mirren after being suspended by the club for assault charges.
Fullback Elvis Bwomono and forwards Greg Quilty and Kevin van Veen played 70 minutes on the bounce this week in hopes of making the squad.
However, Conor McMenamin and Alex Iacovetti remain sidelined for extended periods of time.
St Johnstone v Celtic (Sat, 17:45)
St Johnstone will be without suspended Benjamin Kimpioka and Adama Sidibe, while striker Uche Ikpeazu and centre-half Sam McClelland also remain absent.
Celtic are without centre-half Cameron Carter-Vickers due to a toe injury, but right-back Alistair Johnstone returns.
Rangers v Hibernian (Sun, 12:00)
Rangers left-back Jehute has returned from suspension, while striker Hamza Igamane is available after he missed Thursday’s Europa League game against Malmo due to bureaucratic red tape.
Danilo, Oscar Cortes, Rabbi Matondo and Ridvan Yilmaz remain absent.
Hibernian will be joined by recently signed striker Dwight Gayle for the first time.
Captain Joe Newell and winger Martin Boyle are both doubts, while striker Kieron Bowie and midfielder Jake Doyle-Hayes are still working on their fitness after more than a year out.
