Get great deals on groceries with the Flashfood app! Here’s how.
These days, many of us struggle to buy regular groceries. If you’re concerned about store prices, we know how to lower your costs…download the free Flashfood app!
What is a flash hood?
This is an app that connects you with major grocery stores in your area that need to get rid of soon-to-expire food. All items are still fresh and available at up to 50% off. Additionally, all listings include an expiration date so you know how long you should use the product before purchasing.
Search for Flash Foods near you and find popular deals on meat, dairy, produce, baked goods, and more. Participating grocery stores include Meijer, Stop & Shop, Martin’s, Giant Eagle, Piggly Wiggly and Tops.
Using a flashfood app can be a great way to save money on food for a last-minute gathering, pastries for the office, or dinner tonight. Not only will it help reduce food waste, but you might even find what you need at 50% off.
Paige from Hip2Save recently used Flashfood to purchase all of the above groceries for just $10. 🤩
Here’s Paige’s Flash Food review:
“This was all purchased on an app called Flash Food! Total – $10! That’s food that’s about to expire at the grocery store or through DoorDash. I freeze my bread anyway, so it’s ok.”
There are Flash Food stores all over the country.
Find a website or Flashfood app using the GPS or Maps feature. After researching the app, I found that flash food sales were happening in many major cities in the United States, especially in the Midwest, East Coast, and South. Although not widely available in the West, there are several flash food stores in major Western cities.
Flash food is for pick-up orders, so keep that in mind when choosing your location.
Tip: Is your app showing nearby locations but not available deals? Click on the “List” option in the right corner of the map. When I tried this out, it showed me a ton of available deals that I didn’t see when I first opened the app.
