Blue Ridge 49, Low Point Washburn 30. Isaac Price powered the Knights (3-0) to the victory with 22 points. Corbin Colbert added 11 points in the game.
Calvary Christian Academy 55, Blue Ridge 39. Although the Knights (3-1) weren’t able to stay undefeated and earn their second win of the day, they had some solid individual performances. Isaac Price dropped 16 points, and Corbin Colbert and Landon Slade each chipped in eight points.
Cerro Gordo Thanksgiving Tournament
Argenta vs. Oleana 52, Cerro Gordo/Bemento 48. A ferocious fourth-quarter comeback attempt by the Broncos (1-3) fell just short, giving the Bombers (2-2) a narrow victory. Carter Logue (18 points), Tyson Oros (13 points) and MJ Hall (9 points) led the way for AO. CG/B Lucas Fuson led all scorers with 19 points, and Cooper Benson added nine points.
Leroy 57, Windsor/Stewardson Strasburg 52. The Panthers (3-1)’s only loss of the week was to eventual champion Warrensburg-Latham. Sam Edmundson earned a spot on the All-Tournament team with games of 28, 11, 27 and 25 points.
Unity Christian 68, Heritage 36. The Hawks (2-2) were even with Unity Christian at the end of the first quarter, but were unable to hang on from there. Rylan White and Brennan Strack led Heritage with a combined 17 points.
Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Tournament
Armstrong Potomac 64, Prairie Central 62. The game was tied at halftime and was just as exciting in the second half, with the Trojans (3-1) coming away with a close third-place win over the Hawks (2-2). James Huisinga led AP with 21 points and Cole Bailey added 15 points. Prairie Central’s leading scorers were Easton Freedman with 16 points, Simon Zimmerman with 15 points and Bryston Gadberry with 12 points.
Hoopeston Area 55, Fisher 47. After trailing by one point at halftime, the Cornjerkers (2-2) used a second-half advantage to grab the win and move into fifth place. Trenton Montez nearly reached a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds. Nick Cardenas had 17 points, Cole Miller had 10 points and seven rebounds, and Zach Fuchell had six steals. Ryan Hopkins had a big day for the Bunnies (1-3) with 25 points, four rebounds and three steals. Cam Grant and Isaac Dabney each scored seven points.
Iroquois West 63, Tri Point 49. The Raiders (1-3) ended the tournament with a win and ran away with seventh place. Garrett Tammen led the way with 15 points, while Rylan Pfeiffer and Beau Howe each had 10 points.
Lexington 71, Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley 67. Brayden Elliott and Graydon Leonard each scored 18 points and Riker Grauer added 14 points, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Falcons (3-1) to the championship. To settle in 2nd place.

Cahokia 65, Danville 63. The Vikings (0-4) entered the fourth quarter with a 12-point lead, but a strong Comanche finish changed the outcome and Danville settled for eighth. Didi Robinson had a big performance with 24 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 steals. CL Dye added 15 points, Jamion Avery added 11 points and Jerry Reed III added nine points.
Mount Zion 67, Centennial 42. It wasn’t all smooth sailing for the Chargers (2-2), who got 15 points from Kayden Peete and 10 rebounds from Voldy Makabu.
St. Anthony Thanksgiving Tournament
Edwardsville 69, Champaign Central 63. The Maroons (3-1) fell behind by 18 points in the second quarter but fought back to within three points with 30 seconds left. In the end, Chris Busch’s 22 points and Daniel Sago’s 12 points weren’t enough to complete a return to the championship. Busch and Kayden Love were named to the all-tournament team.
Mattoon 72, Rantoul 62. Despite a 27-point performance from DJ Davis, the Eagles (1-3) couldn’t move past the lead. Tyshawn Moody complemented Davis with 12 points of his own. Davis earned a spot on the all-tournament team.

Bismarck-Hennig/Rossville-Albin 59, Covington 45. Kayson Peoples had his best individual performance of the young season, dropping 35 points while making all 11 of his free throw attempts. Chaz Dubois also stood out for the Blue Devils (3-0), scoring all nine of his points in the second half.
Paris 66, Milford 45. The Bearcats’ second game of the day (0-4) couldn’t have been more kind, as Beau Wright scored a team-high 18 points and Rickson LaFon added 11 points.
Schlarman 47, Milford 39. The Hilltoppers (1-2) defeated the Bearcats (0-3) in a fairly low-scoring matchup. Jerious Atkinson led Schlarman with 19 points, followed by Noah Fowler with 11 points and Miles Crosby with nine points. Caleb Coulter’s 15 points paced Milford, closely followed by Tyler Runner’s 12 points and Beau Wright’s 10 points.

Clifton Central 53, Watseka 48. The Warriors (0-1) started the season in a close nonconference home game, but got an impressive 23 points from Peyton Schaumburg. Quinn Stankey scored nine points and James Newell added eight points.
