SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio area businesses, attractions, clinics and medical facilities have announced closures Monday and Tuesday due to winter weather.
Light rain is expected to move through the area by dinnertime on Monday. The lower atmosphere is so dry that it may not reach the ground at first.
After sunset, light rain is likely to fall, transitioning to drizzle and light sleet as temperatures gradually drop. Precipitation will peak between midnight and sunrise Tuesday. During this period, light sleet and freezing rain may turn to light snow in some areas.

San Antonio business and tourist attraction closures:
BELDON Roofing Company announced Monday that it will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st.
Chiolbassa Smoked Meat, located at 1325 South Brazos Street, will also close on Tuesday, January 21st. The store is scheduled to reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22nd.
Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union is postponing the opening of its San Antonio, Austin and Corpus Christi stores starting at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
The San Antonio Botanical Garden will be closed on Monday, January 20th and Tuesday, January 21st due to weather conditions. Weather permitting, we plan to open at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22nd.
The San Antonio Zoo and Zoo Train will be closed on Monday, January 20th. Starbucks will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Santikos Entertainment in San Antonio, Cibolo, and New Braunfels will have their last showtime on Monday, January 20th at 9pm, and their first showtime on Tuesday, January 21st at 2pm.
SeaWorld San Antonio will be closed on Monday, January 20th.
Six Flags Fiesta Texas will be closed on Monday, January 20th.
USAA announced that its San Antonio office and bank lobby will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st. The organization also said it will continue to serve its members without interruption.
Closure of clinics and medical services:
Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) outpatient operations and non-essential administrative services will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21. Pharmacy and testing services will also begin at 9 a.m. Inpatient care delivery remains unchanged. Patients who have made early reservations will be notified of any schedule changes.
CentroMed: All clinics in San Antonio, New Braunfels, Converse, Schertz, Cibolo and Somerset will close on Tuesday, Jan. 21, the nonprofit said in a news release.
Dilly Allergy and Asthma closed Tuesday and said it plans to reopen Wednesday.
Methodist Healthcare Ministries’ San Antonio area locations will close on Tuesday, January 21st. This includes: Dixon Health & Wellness Center; George Ricks School-Based Health Center at Shartz Elementary School; Wesley Nurse Site and Corporate Office in San Antonio; Patients who have appointments scheduled for Tuesday will have their appointments rescheduled.
South Texas Blood Organization: The organization announced its donor center will close Monday at 5 p.m. The center will then reopen on Tuesday at 1pm and remain open until 5pm.
The University of Health changed its community clinic hours ahead of the anticipated arrival of winter weather, according to a news release Monday. All Express Med clinics will close at 6pm on Monday and reopen at noon on Tuesday. Community clinics open at noon on Tuesdays. Patients with reservations will be asked to change their appointment to telemedicine or reschedule their appointment. Outpatient rehabilitation centers will also reopen at noon Tuesday. The outpatient dialysis center opens at 7 a.m. Tuesday. All services at University Hospital, services at University Women’s and Children’s Hospital, procedures at University Hospital, the outpatient surgery center, including radiology, and the pharmacy will continue as scheduled and will be open with normal business hours.

The Bexar County Courthouse will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st.
The Bexar County facility will close on Tuesday, January 21st.
City of Floresville offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st.
City of San Marcos offices and facilities will be closed on Tuesday, January 21st.
