Saltburn composer Anthony Willis has topped the nominations for the second round of the World Soundtrack Awards (WSA) 2024.
In addition to his previously announced nomination for Film Composer of the Year, Willis is also nominated for the Discovery Award and Public Choice Award.
The winners will be announced at a WSA ceremony and concert at the Ghent Film Festival in Belgium on October 16th.
In the Discovery category, Willis is up against Jerskin Fendrix for “Poor Things,” Carlos Rafael Rivera for “Ezra,” Caroline Shaw for “Julie Keeps Quiet” and Diego Baldenweg for “In The Land Of Saints And Sinners.”
Willis and Baldenweg are also nominated for the Public Choice Award, against Hans Zimmer (Dune Part II), Amelia Warner (Little Women) and Umberto Scipione (War of the Beasts).
The first wave of nominees included Zimmer, Billie Eilish and Ludwig Göransson.
