Watsontown Trucking Co. has been awarded the Motor Carrier Safety Platinum Level and Workplace Safety Platinum Level from Great West Casualty Company as part of the annual Workplace Safety Awards and Motor Carrier Safety Awards program.
The Workplace Safety Awards program recognizes trucking companies that strive to create and promote a safe work environment for their employees, according to a news release. Awards are determined based on a motor carrier’s year-end workplace accident rate. Carriers are eligible for platinum, gold, or silver awards.
The Motor Carrier Safety Awards Program recognizes motor carriers with truckload and sub-truckload similar operations and awards awards based on year-end preventable accident outcomes. Motor carriers are eligible for platinum, gold, or silver awards.
