RNGD, one of New Orleans’ most well-known construction companies, is expanding into the Nashville area with the opening of a new office building.
RNGD, pronounced Rebel, has been in Nashville since 2021 and previously rented a small office there. But RNGD owner Wes Palmisano said he needs more space to accommodate his growing business and employee portfolio.
The company bought a former auto repair shop about three miles east of the city’s tourist district for $2 million in 2023, converted it into an office building and moved into a 4,000-square-foot space earlier this month.
The company is also expanding into Huntsville, Alabama, developing a mixed-use district with townhouses, retail space, restaurants and offices in the city’s downtown.
Palmisano said RNGD’s growth in other cities complements its efforts in its continued home market of New Orleans.
“Our recent investment in the New Orleans area and move to a new facility within an industrial environment is a commitment to maintain New Orleans as our regional headquarters and expand our workforce in the local market,” he said.
