DENVER, Colo., Dec. 3, 2024 (Globe Newswire) — Luxe Offroad LLC modifies, customizes and manufactures luxury off-road vehicles. Luxe’s expert team of mechanics and engineers guarantees integrity, dedication, and quality in the refined craftsmanship of every project. With workshops in Colorado, Alabama, Florida, and Kansas, Luxe Offroad is celebrating 14 years of perfecting the impossible with state-of-the-art Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator platforms across 100,000 square feet. garage.
Luxe Offroad was founded in 2008 by Dr. William Lindsay Jr. as a simple hobby of tuning trucks to fit America’s harshest environments. With a degree in landscape architecture, a career in civil engineering, and a PhD in physics, William has always been someone who enjoyed getting his hands dirty. He soon sold his first customized Jeep to an executive at a major car dealership. The executive encouraged me to continue selling the project. When William saw the sparkle in his first purchaser’s eyes, he knew his craft was no longer a hobby.
In fact, even when the financial crisis finally hit, William went to work and sold every truck he worked on for dollars. So in 2010, he and a friend founded Luxe Offroad and quickly began building hundreds of upgraded luxury vehicles. “It’s been a tough journey so far. Despite all the crazy things that have happened, we’ve still grown and become more well-known almost every day,” William reflects.
Luxe Offroad currently offers many services including custom carbon fiber and Kevlar panels, wraps, SxS race conversions, suspension tuning, full fabrication, engineered parts, and more. Especially after the 2020 pandemic, when lockdowns were lifted and people started leaving their homes in search of adventure, William and Luxe Offroad knew they could make a difference by facilitating journeys for clients to connect with the outdoors. I understand definitively.
Enjoy the comfort of Italian leather upholstery, the safety of custom Kevlar parts, and the signature custom graphic wrap, all matched by the adrenaline of driving nearly perpendicular to the ground and barely descending over rocks, streams, and trails in the wilderness. Almost nothing else. William has always recognized that trail driving is an extreme sport in itself, which is why the Luxe vehicle’s sleek form and relentless functionality ensure that both behind and off the wheel. It’s even more fun.
“In the off-road and overlanding industry, we believe in stripping cars down to their bare essentials,” says William. “When you go outdoors, you’re asked to remove all the comforts of life and you’re expected to be uncomfortable.” But most off-road drivers don’t like crawling over rocks or dunes. Just as much, they prefer the comfort of modern technology.
William realized that there were many adventurers waiting for the perfect car off the beaten path, without the services of the automotive industry. UTVs, SUVs, trucks, and Jeeps built for off-roading don’t usually come equipped with luxuries like heated seats and air conditioning, but off-roaders are definitely the ones that need them the most. Therefore, Luxe pioneered the art of luxury customization with a new mantra: “Products over profits.”
From an audio system that sounds better than a concert hall and costs more than the vehicle itself to a custom embroidered tent, Luxe goes above and beyond to make the most of every off-road adventure . “We recognize that off-roading is not a cheap hobby, so we strive to give you the best value,” William explains. “During the build process, if we realize we should have included something a little more luxurious, we include it at no cost to the client, simply because we felt it would make the project better, and our idea was I haven’t been betrayed yet.”
As off-roading becomes a more diverse sport in the U.S. and more women join the fold, Luxe Offroad flattens the traditionally steep learning curve and makes the shop and outdoors more inclusive for everyone. I am dedicated to making things happen. If clients want to see the work in progress, Luxe Offroad invites everyone to its stores in Colorado, Alabama, Florida, and Kansas. Featuring glass walls and cameras that document all of our amazing projects and nearly daily facility tours, Luxe Offroad showcases its work in real time and reflects its elegance on your garage door. I’m proud of that. With 100,000 square feet, we are dedicated to optimizing your experience every step of the way. The facility has always poured a spotless white epoxy floor for both transparency and audience enjoyment.
William recently developed a controversial printed light that operates on a specific frequency rather than a power supply. Paper-thin printed lights take up little space and shine with up to 50,000 lumens without taxing your vehicle’s battery. Looking forward to another 14 years of celebrating the outdoors, Luxe Offroad founder William Lindsey plans to unveil innovative new technology to the public in 2025. William concludes: People enjoy it from start to finish. ”
