Hundreds of American Red Cross workers are helping Southern California residents evacuate from a large, fast-moving wildfire that has destroyed their homes and neighborhoods of all types. The Red Cross is working with partners to provide safe shelter, food, psychological support and other services to evacuees in need. More than 1,000 evacuees stayed overnight in Red Cross-managed shelters on Thursday, but our work is not done yet. Red Cross volunteers will be here to help all those in need as they try to recover from the devastating fires.
