QVC announced a recall of 1.1 million sets of oven gloves because they could pose a burn risk to the wearer.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Temp-tations oven gloves do not protect from oven heat and can pose a safety risk for people who use gloves when touching very hot surfaces.
According to the CPSC, the affected gloves are “sold by QVC in single pairs, pairs, and sets with drying mats,” and come in blue, yellow, and red colors, as well as floral and summer shell prints. It is said that
They were also sold with the following model numbers: K51459, K76398, K47973, K48879, K85322, K96004, K92603, K308719, K309220, K309388, and K309516.
The gloves are made of cotton and come in small and large sizes.
QVC reported 162 cases of inadequate heat protection, 92 of which resulted in minor burns.
CPSC urges consumers to stop using the gloves and contact QVC for a refund.
