Amanda Detsloan has been promoted to partner at the MG+M law firm.
Detthrone defends clients in complex civil litigation and focuses its practice on toxic torts, including asbestos and talc litigation. She has successfully represented manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and premises owners involved in various toxin exposures through all stages of litigation.
She received her undergraduate degree from Florida Gulf Coast University and her law degree with honors from New England School of Law. Boston. Mr. Detsloan served on the editorial board of the New England Law Review and was a judicial clerk to U.S. District Judge John W. DeGravels in Baton Rouge.

Cynthia T. Hayes has been named president and CEO of the Archdiocese of Catholic Charities of New Orleans.
She succeeds Sister Marjorie Hebert, who retired last month after serving as president and CEO for 12 years.
Hayes has more than 40 years of fundraising experience. She spent more than 25 years at Tulane University, most recently serving as senior director of medical alumni relations and development at Tulane University’s School of Medicine. Before going to Tulane, he served as president and principal of Cabrini High School.

Tad Bartlett and Kaja Elmer have been selected as partners at Fishman Haygood.
Mr. Bartlett heads the Appellate Group and performs broader work in the firm’s litigation department. Since 2019, Mr. Bartlett has served as an adjunct professor at Tulane Law School, teaching advanced seminars on coastal law litigation and policy.
Elmer focuses on a wide range of commercial litigation matters. She represents corporations in commercial disputes, investors and borrowers in securities fraud litigation, and trustees and trustees in bankruptcy-related litigation in state and federal courts.

Frank Corcoran Jr. has been named CEO of Lane Regional Medical Center.
Corcoran has more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience. For the past three years, he served as CEO of Sierra Vista Hospital in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. He replaces Larry Meese, who is retiring from Lane after working for the past eight years.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from LSU School of Nursing and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Capella University.
