Washington, USA:
Vice President JD Vance was chased by procrane protesters in Cincinnati, Ohio, while walking with her 3-year-old daughter on Saturday, and claims she is “anxious and scared” in her screams. According to Republican leaders, he decided to speak to the protesters – resulting in a “almost” respectful conversation.
“Today, while walking my 3-year-old daughter, a group of protesters from “Slabaukraine” chased us and cried out. My daughter cried out in fear, increasingly uneasy.
He added, “It was a mostly respectful conversation, but if you’re chasing the 3-year-old as part of a political protest, you’re as a ***person.”

A similar incident occurred last week when Vance was greeted by protesters who were holding signs of Procrane during a family trip to Vermont for a ski holiday. Hundreds of protesters holding signs of reading “International Embarrassment” and “Vermont Stand with Ukraine” gathered in Waitsfield, Vermont, to oppose the vice president’s visit to a Republican-controlled nation.
For the demonstration, the Vance family reportedly had to move from the planned ski resort to a private location.
Vance garnered massive criticism from pro-Ukrainian supporters, particularly after a fiery conflict with Ukrainian President Voldy Mil Zelensky at the White House on February 28th.
The tense oval meeting between Vance and US President Donald Trump, and the vice president with the other Ukrainian leader, questioned the latter’s demand for additional US funding, disputed his credibility and suggested that Ukraine could lose American support if he had not accepted the terms provided. The moment that made the meeting even more tense was when Vance repeatedly asked Zelensky if he had thanked Zelensky for its fundraising.
“The President, with respect, I think it’s disrespectful to you come to your oval office and try and sue this in front of the American media. Now, you guys have talent issues, so you guys are going around and forcing the Frontline to draft. You should be grateful to the President.”
He said, “I’ve actually seen the stories and I know that I bring people on propaganda tours.
In response, Zelensky said that even the United States has “everyone has a problem” during the war.
The triggered Trump then said to Zelensky in a loud, stern voice, “You don’t have a card right now. If you’re going to make a deal or go out, if we’re going out, you’ll fight it, and I think it’s going to be clean.”
The exchange witnessed by many US and international media led to Zelensky leaving the White House and causing severe tension in diplomatic relations between Washington and Kiev.
