Work continues to clear land for a new shopping development in Alabaster

Preparations continue to bring a new shopping experience to Alabaster. The city posted on social media that work is underway to clear land for the new District 31 and Shops at District 31 shopping centers along Highway 31. The City of Alabaster said the new development will feature more than a dozen restaurants and stores, including Chipotle, CAVA and Five Guys Burger & Fries. The Shops at District 31 is the first part of a larger plan for the District 31 shopping center at Exit 238 of Highway 31, in the area of the former Cannon Quick Stop gas station. The city posted on social media that crews were clearing land for the new District 31 and Shops at District 31 shopping centers along Highway 31.
