Porsche is shifting gears in Bangkok, but this time it’s not just about cars. The German luxury brand is making waves in Southeast Asia with two bold new ventures: Porsche Design Tower Bangkok and cultural and creative space Carvistan. Both projects promise to take luxury living and lifestyle experiences to a whole new level, while letting the world know that Porsche isn’t just about fast cars: it’s also about both fast cars and luxurious homes.
Porsche Design Tower Bangkok is set to be an exciting addition to the city’s skyline. It’s not just any building; it’s a collaboration between Porsche Design and Ananda Development and the first of its kind in Asia. Following the success of its Miami and Stuttgart versions, the tower will be home to 22 ultra-luxurious Sky Villas, boasting private pools, spacious living spaces and, best of all, a private garage with a lift that will bring your car straight into your living room. Who doesn’t want to have their Porsche displayed next to their sofa?
Located on Sukhumvit 38 in the bustling Thonglor district, the tower will feature state-of-the-art facilities, including a 25-metre swimming pool, spa and a performance fitness centre. Oh, and did we mention the ‘light signature’ that will adorn the top of the building? Inspired by the iconic lighting of the Porsche 911, it’s sure to stand out like a gorgeous lighthouse in the Bangkok skyline.
Prices for these Sky Villas range from $15 million to $40 million. If you’re wondering where to apply, we’ll explain. These exclusive units are available by application or invitation only. Porsche is keeping it luxurious as always.
Stephan Büscher, Chairman of Porsche Lifestyle Group, highlighted that the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok is a groundbreaking combination of luxurious design and optimal functionality, while Chanond Ruangkritia, CEO of Ananda Development, was also enthused, highlighting that the collaboration reflects a shared belief in the passion that drives creativity and excellence.
But wait, that’s not all. In addition to the luxury living spaces, Porsche is also partnering with Curves Magazine founder Stefan Bogner to open Curvistan, a creative and cultural hub. Already popular in Tokyo and Berlin, in Bangkok Curvistan will be the destination for art, design and car enthusiasts. It will feature exhibitions, workshops and events that blend Porsche history and innovation. It’s like an upscale version of a pop-up art gallery, only cooler.
With the unveiling of both the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok and Carvistan, it’s clear that Porsche isn’t just hiding its ambitions in a garage, but is heading straight for the heart of Bangkok.
Want to see how Porsche is redefining luxury living and creativity in Bangkok? Keep an eye out for the Porsche Design Tower, scheduled to open in 2028. In the meantime, stop by Curvistan for a unique cultural experience.
