Amélie, 57, said a “high percentage” of her shares were stolen in an “obviously targeted attack”.
The appointment-only showroom was stocked with thousands of pounds worth of ‘wishlist’ bags from world-famous fashion brands including Chanel, Hermès and Louis Vuitton.
“These bags may belong to customers who may have inherited the bag or received the bag as a gift, as well as it could be a bag they have kept for many years or an investment,” she said.
“It took me a long time to set up the business. They stole my bags, but they don’t accept my passion and my love for my work.”
Ms Amélie also warned potential customers looking for their favorite bags ahead of Christmas against purchasing potentially stolen items that do not have dust covers, boxes or details of authenticity.
