The PlayStation Network (PSN) has experienced major outages around the world, with thousands of gamers not able to access online services, multiplayer modes and PlayStation store.
“We know that some users may be experiencing PSN issues now,” said PlayStation, who has confirmed news on social media platform X.

Reports of connectivity issues have skyrocketed across social media, with users encountering error messages and login failures.
Frustration grows as players scramble for updates. Social media platforms are flooded with users venting their anger over the suspension.
“PSN Down on weekend nights is a criminal,” the user wrote in X.
“I’ll go home after an eight-hour shift to get the PSN down,” writes another.
PlayStation Network (PSN) allows gamers to purchase and download games, interact with other players, manage their accounts, redeem rewards, and access multimedia apps such as Netflix and Spotify It’s an online service.
Reports say the server went down for most people around 5:30am today.
Sony has yet to provide an official explanation of what exactly happened.
