In late September, Escambia County received a development proposal to build a new commercial hub at Ferry Pass with a shopping center and restaurant space.
The project is called Nine Mile Retail Center, and the developers plan to build a 4.18-acre site with an approximately 10,000-square-foot shopping center, a restaurant building with 5,259 square feet of interior space, and 1,478 square feet of retail space. I’m thinking of changing it to. external space.
Potential tenants for the shopping center and restaurant space have not yet been decided.
Three access points are planned in the proposal, two of which would direct motorists to Wanda Drive and the final one would provide access to Nine Mile Road.
There will also be a parking lot shared by the shopping center and restaurant with 124 spaces, including six spaces for the disabled and a crosswalk between the buildings.
Ping Man LLC is listed as the project’s owner and developer on the site plan filed with Escambia County, proposing to build the potential hub next to the Cefco gas station on East Nine Mile Road. I did.
