Eagles release former All-Pro Devin White at age 26
The Philadelphia Eagles released former All-Pro linebacker Devin White on Tuesday.
The Eagles signed White to a one-year, $4 million contract with $3.5 million guaranteed in the offseason after he spent his first five NFL seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucks selected White with the fifth pick in the 2019 draft. He was named All-Pro in his second season in the NFL and selected to the Pro Bowl in his third season.
White never played in a game for the Eagles. An ankle injury limited his playing time early in the season, but his recent games have shown little signs of injury. He is currently a free agent at the age of 26.
