LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — It was a very successful fundraising night. It was full of basketballs and donations, and no one was hurt. Apex Basketball Social hosted an Apex Charity Basketball Game to raise funds and donations for the Serving Our Kids Foundation.
In the charity hoops match, News 3, hosted by Captain Sports Director Brian Salmond and Digital Sales Manager Mo Holland, defeated Captain Mike P and Hot 97.5/106.9 The Bomb 84-51.
It will be held at noon Nov. 12 at the Doolittle Community Center.
Serving Our Kids Foundation has been raising money for Las Vegas for over 10 years. The foundation is dedicated to providing hope and a brighter future to food-insecure and at-risk children by providing meal bags every weekend.
The winner of tonight’s game was obligated to donate at least $500, and the loser was required to donate at least $1,000. This work is supported by a vast network of donors, supporters, and volunteers who are committed to ending child hunger across the Valley.
