Financial recovery for the American Dream
The mall, whose construction was financed by more than $1 billion in state and local grants, has faced years of problems, including a quadrupling in financial losses in 2022 and a flood of lawsuits over unpaid bills. After experiencing financial difficulties, the country’s finances have recovered over the past six months. , and a years-long spat with several cleaning staff members trying to form a union.
But American Dream Inc. has seen a reversal of fortunes, posting two consecutive quarters of positive financial growth, according to bond filings.
