STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. — A new luxury development is coming to Steamboat.
In March, The Amble was announced as Steamboat Co.’s next full Steam Ahead project. Units range from one to four bedrooms, with the cheapest unit selling for $1.7 million and the most expensive for $8.5 million. The 42-unit development will feature some great amenities, including an outdoor pool and hot tub, a games room, indoor parking with heated spaces and charging stations, and ski lockers. The building will be designed to be a net-zero carbon footprint, as it will run entirely on electricity. Now they are securing the funding to make this a reality.
This week, JLL Capital Markets announced it had secured a $72,359,000 construction loan for the development, which will allow construction to move forward over the next few years.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with JLL to bring this exciting new development to the market,” said Leon McBroom, senior managing director at JLL, in a press release about the development.
“East West has an incredible track record of creating a sense of place. Amble is a continuation of East West’s extraordinary vision and will further strengthen the market by delivering the first luxury condominiums to be built in Steamboat in over 15 years. The JLL team is extremely proud to be part of this incredible project.”
As you can see in the photo above, construction of the new building is underway, with completion scheduled for spring 2026.
