GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Grayson Clothiers, a luxury clothing retailer with locations in Detroit, New York and Atlanta, focused on golf and lifestyle apparel, will open a store in downtown Grand Rapids this month.
The 4,100-square-foot store will be Grayson’s third in Michigan and will be located next door in the Peck Building at 40 Monroe Center St. NW.
“Grand Rapids Wolf Den stores will feature a unique selection of seasonal Grayson products for the whole family to enjoy,” said Charlie Schaefer, CEO of Grayson Clothiers.
Greyson Clothiers was founded in 2015. We have locations in Detroit and Herbron Springs, Michigan, as well as New Orleans, New York City, West Palm Beach, Atlanta, Denver, and South Korea.
Although an exact opening date has not been determined, Tyler Lexedon, senior vice president and principal at Seyfarth PR, which issued the news release announcing the Grayson’s opening, said a soft opening could be attempted as early as this week. He said that there is a sex.
The official ribbon cutting for the store will take place on Friday, Dec. 6 at 10:30 a.m.
One of the unique elements of the Grand Rapids store is the “Custom Shop.” The retailer describes it as a “glass enclosure that offers guests the opportunity to customize hats and other wear while watching the process in action.”
Greyson Clothiers is filling space in the Peck Building, which has been vacant for three years and was previously occupied by Rodolfo Gonzales Interior Design.
The Peck Building is owned by Rockford Construction.
“For the past 26 years, our company has been a key part of the evolving landscape of downtown Grand Rapids,” Mike VanGessel, founder and CEO of Rockford Construction, said in a statement. “Bringing Grayson Clothing to Monroe Center is a great opportunity to continue raising the next standard for Grand Rapids. It is known.”
