Nevada Lieutenant Governor Stavros Anthony announced Wednesday morning his intention to create a task force to protect women’s sports.
In the announcement, Lieutenant Governor Anthony said the task force will work with athletes, coaches, He said he would work with educators and policy makers.

The task force will be chaired by Marci Smith, an NCAA champion swimmer, Henderson resident, and leading advocate of fairness in sports.
