NASCAR fans can watch all the action from the Cup races at Daytona, Talladega and Atlanta with live coverage of every lap the green flag waves as NBC Sports broadcasts “NASCAR Non-Stop” from each track.
Starting with Saturday night’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona, broadcast on NBC, through the Quaker State 400 at Walmart in Atlanta (Sept. 8, USA Network) and the YellaWood 500 at Talladega (Oct. 6, NBC), NBC Sports will use side-by-side breaking only during green-flag action and will broadcast every green-flag lap live.
“We’re always striving to deliver the best possible coverage to those watching NASCAR at home,” said Jeff Behnke, vice president of motorsports production for NBC Sports. “NBC Sports’ ‘NASCAR Non-Stop’ will give fans what they want from the big races at Daytona, Atlanta and Talladega – live green-flag lap-by-lap coverage of superspeedway racing.”
Lee Diffie will lead the Cup coverage starting this weekend at Daytona International Speedway.
NBC Sports’ “NASCAR Non-Stop” superspeedway coverage is just the latest example of production enhancements for NASCAR coverage, which include the highly acclaimed “radio-style” broadcasts at select tracks such as Watkins Glen and the Chicago Street Race, and, introduced for the first time this year, Stage 2 embedded broadcasts with drivers and race teams that highlight the teamwork and contributions required at every level to have a successful day at the track.
NBC Sports coverage of Daytona International Speedway will begin with Xfinity Series qualifying on Friday at 3:00 PM ET on USA Network, followed by Cup Series qualifying at 5:00 PM ET on USA Network and the Xfinity Series race at 7:30 PM ET on USA Network.
Saturday’s coverage from Daytona kicks off at 7pm ET on NBC and Peacock with “Countdown to Green.”
