New Delhi:
Nouseir Yassin, the Israeli vlogger who took the video content world by storm with his Nas Daily channel, asked a difficult personal question when someone asked him at the NDTV World Summit if he would have found success like he did. I answered it head-on. If his political opinions were otherwise, he would be enjoying himself today.
After Nas Daily gave a presentation on the evolution of content creation and distribution at the NDTV World Summit in Delhi, he agreed to take questions from the audience.
“You are an Israeli citizen of Palestinian descent. Would you say yes or no? What successes have you had, what political opinions do you have, and if you have a different political opinion? What do you think would happen if you did this?” Have you had success with this method? ” one audience member asked.
Nas Daily responded, “That’s a great question. Did I succeed because of my political views?”
“My friends, I am successful despite my political opinions, not because of them,” Nas Daly said.
“And you have no idea how difficult that is. The population of Israel is 8 million, but the population of the Islamic world is 1 billion. 200 million in Indonesia, 200 million in Pakistan, 200 million in Egypt. 100 million people, 100 million in Libya and Tunisia, and another 200.” 1 million in Bangladesh, right?
“If you create something that’s popular and say, ‘Oh yeah, free Palestine, I’m with you all,’ you’ll literally get more followers and you’ll be more successful. You don’t need security. But that’s because I , I believe the truth is a little more nuanced and not black and white. Unfortunately, as I have studied and lived this conflict, it is actually gray.
“So if someone sitting in Pakistan or Indonesia tells me what to think about this conflict, I won’t listen to him,” said the world-famous Facebook page and YouTube channel. said Nath Daly, who received the award. Create a 1-minute video every day and publish it for 1,000 consecutive days.
Each video, known as a “Nas Daily” video, featured him sharing stories, experiences, and insights from his travels around the world. He eventually started a media company, Nas Daily Corporation.
“…my political opinion is clear that we need two states for two people, but at the same time we need to liberate Palestine from Hamas, radicalism and terrorism. I don’t agree with that at all.I think Israel does.”Every time I say the word ‘I’, which is my country of origin, I lose the brand deal. Masu.
“That’s why I succeeded, despite being canceled more than 10 times. The video is so good that even if you hate Israel, you’re willing to listen to what Israelis have to say. And , here’s the lesson I give you: There’s a great picture of one man standing and 10,000 people gathered together and the man saying, “You’re all wrong.” . I want everyone to think about this photo. “You’re all wrong.”
“What are you going to say, standing up in front of 10,000 people who disagree with you and saying, ‘You guys are wrong’? What you deeply believe and what is deeply unpopular? What is it? For me, it’s the Israeli conflict. But for you, it’s a great exercise for each and every one of you sitting here.
“What is it that you deeply believe in, but everyone around you still disagrees with? And yet, for some reason you still believe in it. That’s what you should make a video about. I think so,” Nas Daily said.
Continuing NDTV’s pioneering media legacy, the event launched NDTV World. We aim to be a representative of Asia and India on the world stage.
