Italian luxury fashion house Missoni is popular for its colorful palette, distinctive patterns and playful yet timeless designs, and now you can bring this signature aesthetic into your home in the form of exquisitely crafted area rugs.
Teaming up with luxury rug and carpet brand Stark, the stunning new collection, which launches on August 20th, marks a continuation of the companies’ partnership that began in 2005. “Missoni plays a pivotal role in design, and the collection Stark has created for this collaboration brings textures and colors that work well with a variety of aesthetics,” Stark creative director Ashley Stark tells THR.
The Missoni x Stark collection includes 45 rug and carpet styles, a combination of ready-made and custom products, giving homeowners and interior designers the freedom to customize dimensions, materials and color schemes.
“We work closely together [Missoni’s] “Popular knitwear, vibrant color palettes and iconic patterns,” adds Stephanie Muller, vice president of product development at Stark. Throughout the collection, the fashion house’s most common motifs are evident, including gradient colors, zigzag designs and metallic accents.
As for what’s available to buy online, there are four designs in stock, each offered in three to four color variations, making a total of 13 rugs available to buy directly from Stark’s website. All 13 options are sold in a range of sizes to fit seamlessly into any space.
