According to investigative news agency Insider, the vessel, named Harry Up, was built in 2024 by Plymouth-based Princess Yachts and shipped to Russia through a foundation allegedly linked to Medvedev. imported.
The foundation, known as the National Maritime Program Support Foundation, facilitated the imports through affiliated companies, documents show.
The foundation is chaired by Dmitry Ustratov, a longtime Medvedev confidant and colleague of Ilya Eliseyev, who oversees his financial interests.
The foundation received 2.3 billion rubles ($21.2 million) in donations in 2023, but its philanthropy appears modest. According to media reports, the company’s most widely known initiative was providing kayaking equipment to youth organizations in Ukraine’s Kherson region, occupied by Moscow.
Medvedev, known for his lavish lifestyle, already owns a number of luxury yachts. These include the Italian-built GV, worth £4m, and Universe, a 74m mega-yacht worth an estimated £82m.
Universe boasts features such as a helipad and secure communications system, and is reportedly funded by oligarch Igor Yusufov through an offshore entity in the Cayman Islands.
