Mark Zuckerberg, Meta CEO, said that all the hands on Thursday are ready for the “intense year.” Zuckerberg has dealt with the US government and cooperated with the US government. Not only hiring more engineers.
META CEO’s Mark Zuckerberg talked to employees on Thursday at the All Hands conference to “buckle -up” for “intense” year, and addressed some recent policies.
Zuckerberg opened an all -hand by emphasizing the emergency feeling of the year. He told the staff that AI was the best in his heart, expecting the company’s trajectory to be more clear by the end of 2025. He has also dealt with the facts for diversity, fairness, and inclusiveness and recent policies related to programs.
“This is a marathon, not a sprint,” he said in a recording reviewed by Business Insider. “But to be honest, this year feels a little more sprint for me.”
Meta refused to comment.
Meta bets AI
Zuckerberg predicted that Zuckerberg was a year when 2025 was reached to 1 billion users in 2025, in 2025.
“I think everyone who first arrives there has a long -term and durable advantages to building one of the most important products in history.” Zuckerberg said.
Zuckerberg has also repeated his belief that this is the year when the meta, including the creation of software, has begun to undertake work. Asked whether this would lead to a reduction in work, Zuckerberg said it was “difficult to know”, and it could be a redundant role, but more productivity. It can lead to hiring more engineers than you can.
“The nature of future engineering will be different from today,” he said.
Meta made a recent policy change
Zuckerberg has touched some flash points from the company in recent weeks. This includes the announcement that it will move from a third -party fact checker to the community notebook system as used by Elon Musk’s X.
He waited with the staff to see how the new system was implemented.
“I’m very optimistic when this is actually a better system,” he said.
Zuckerberg also stated that this is the year of “reset” the relationship between meta and the government around the world.
“We have the opportunity to have a productive partnership with the US government. I’m going to adopt it,” said Zuckerberg. “Even if we don’t agree with everything, we are trying to be able to serve the community better, even if there are some areas, that’s right. I think we will promote our country’s profits together, “he said, and he would do so in a way that would not compromise.
Meta rolls back the DEI program
The metatic has also worked on our recent attitude to the DEI policy and recent changes in the role -back of their programs in response to changes in legal and regulated landscape under the Trump administration.
“The way to think about this is that we are in the right of the policies and regulatory environments that change very rapidly. We need to adjust. Otherwise, do not cooperate with what the law is saying. Zuckerberg said.
Again, he regards the diversity as a strength, “Historically, there are several specific programs that focus on specific underestimated groups, and policies, regulations and legal directions. I think that even if you try to make up for the other direction, you will not be able to make a specific group.
