Expensive Malibu waterfront reduced to ashes
A video recently shared on X depicts an unforgettable view of Malibu’s waterfront, which was once home to some of California’s most sought-after real estate. This area is now reduced to rubble, with little trace of the once luxurious mansions. Not a single house remains unaffected by the raging wildfires. Once a spectacular coastline, now only charred remains and smoldering ruins remain.
A long line of historic homes along the Pacific Coast Highway, some of which had been standing for decades, were gutted down to their concrete foundations. Roads are littered with overturned utility poles and burnt-out vehicles, while firefighters work tirelessly across miles to salvage what remains of this iconic area. As reported by the Los Angeles Daily News, the devastation is shocking and marks a painful chapter in the history of Malibu’s famous coastline.
