Frozen Banana Snickers
Yield: 12 servings
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 2 hours
Total time: 2 hours 5 minutes
A healthier homemade snack that tastes like a snicker and uses bananas!
1
Peel and slice the banana horizontally half and vertically.
2
Spread the peanut butter over the banana slices.
3
Drizzle caramel sauce on top of a peanut butter layer.
4
The caramel is still sticky, but crush the peanuts and sprinkle over the caramel sauce.
5
Add 2 teaspoons of coconut oil to 1/2c and prepare a light rain of chocolate. Chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Stir warm for 15 seconds or until smooth. Once it’s completely melted, drizzle over the banana!
6
Optional: Sprinkle another layer of peanuts on top. Otherwise, freeze for 2 hours or overnight. And then, happy snacks!

Additional tips for making these banana frozen treats:
1. It’s all about double layers! If you love a good crunch, don’t skip the peanuts on top of a layer of caramel and chocolate.
2. Don’t forget about coconut oil! This is the secret to the smooth (not rough) chocolate layer.
3. We highly recommend using parchment to prevent the chocolate from sticking to cookie sheets.
4. Are you a fan of mushy bananas? đ I’m not like that either! Eat these delicious treats straight out of the freezer or within 5-10 minutes of setting them.
This frozen banana snack was also a victory for Stetson!
Stetson said this snack is minimal effort and would definitely recommend it as a nometh snack. Better yet, you don’t even need to heat the oven. There is more reason to add these to your spring and summer rotations. I found these to be great after-school snacks for kids!
Do you have any remaining bananas? Make walking banana pudding – no cooking required!
