Here’s an easy way to create a creamy homemade coffee creamer at home using all-natural ingredients:
I found it easy and clever to make a healthy coffee creamer! ☕☕️
Are you enjoying a sweetened flavoured coffee creamer with your hot or iced coffee? ! This is a great way to switch between routines and make your own without artificial additives or preservatives. You can also control the sugar content and customize the type of cream or milk according to your nutritional needs.
These examples aren’t on the overly sweet side, but if you like super sweet cream, add your sweat and add the flavor of your choice!
There are countless ways to make coffee creamers, but this is my favorite!
I start by heating maple syrup in half as a sweetener, then add the extract or spice to add the flavor. Once the mixture has cooled, use a mini funnel to transfer it to a glass jar or container and store in the fridge. I love this simple method because it allows me to avoid the hydrogenated oils that are common in store-bought creams.
You can also use these to taste the flavor with oatmeal or chia seed puddings. Yam!
Today I share a recipe for chai coffee creamer with vanilla bean flavor, sugar cookies and spices. They all taste half and half maple syrup and half base, as well as a variety of extracts and spices.
Like my coffee creamer container? My grocery store sells dairy products from local dairy products in glass containers, so I put the creamer back into them. I found these lovely glass pint jars that look similar on Amazon!
Interested in Creamer Labels? We use Amazon’s convenient Bluetooth label manufacturer! I love it and use it frequently to make fast labels.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Total time: 15 minutes
Make delicious homemade coffee creamers at home using maple syrup and half!
Vanilla Bean Coffee Creamer:
Sugar Cookie Coffee Creamer:
2 cups, half a half tablespoons, 4 tablespoons of real maple syrup (or your choice of sweetener) 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoons almond extract 1/4 teaspoons sea salt
Chai Coffee Creamer:
1
For each flavor, mix all the ingredients in a small pot on the stove.
2
Place the pot over medium heat and stir occasionally. Instead of simmering the mixture, simmer instead of simmering. Stir until the sweetener is completely dissolved and the cream is smooth.
3
When boiled, it reduces the heat. Simmer the mixture for about 5 minutes and stir occasionally. You will notice that the creamer thickens slightly when it boils.
4
Let the creamer cool to room temperature and then transfer to a jar or bottle. You can store in the fridge using a lidded jar or bottle. Enjoy iced or hot coffee!

Additional tips for creating this homemade coffee creamer recipe:
If you’re after a sweet coffee creamer, consider tasting it with sweetened condensed milk instead of maple syrup or brown sugar. For sugar-free, consider using sugar substitutes like monk fruit! If I’m not using maple syrup, my go-to is a good monk fruit blend like Lancanto. Instead of half and half, you can combine 1 cup of milk with 1 cup of heavy whipped cream. Instead of dairy products, almond milk or coconut milk can be replaced with a dairy-free version. Homemade coffee creamers usually stay well in the fridge for up to a week. Shake well before pouring. If you’re interested in my handy mini jar funnels, you can find them on Amazon!

You’ll be shocked by the way the sugar cookie flavor tastes like sugar cookies using almond extract and salt! I think this is my current favorite.
The chai flavor is very warm and comfortable. Using vanilla paste on classic vanilla flavor creamer is honestly a lot of fun trying out different flavors!
