I always have chicken in my pantry as it can be useful for a variety of easy meals like chicken salad, chicken soup, etc. This simple idea is a clever way to make homemade nuggets at home in just 10 minutes using an air fryer.
The results are honestly very good!

Canned chicken nuggets from the air fryer

A simple homemade chicken nugget made with canned chicken, eggs and shredded cheese.

First, drain the chicken well. Add to the bowl along with cheese, eggs and seasonings. Combine the mixture well.

Shape the nugget and add it to your air fryer. My batch made nine nuggets. Optional Step: Spray a small amount of cooking oil before cooking.

Cook at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes and turn halfway through. Once the nuggets are brown, they are done. Heat the desired chicken sauce.

Do you prefer to bake these in the oven instead? Bake in a 425-degree oven for about 20 minutes. Turn them over halfway for best results. Are you interested in my air fryer paper liner?
