The Chicago Fire have completed the signing of Ivory Coast international Jonathan Bamba from Celta Vigo as they continue their rebuild under former USMNT manager Gregg Berhalter.
The 28-year-old designated player has made 12 LaLiga appearances for Celta this season, registering one assist.
The Fire reportedly paid the winger $2 million.
Cucho Hernandez reportedly wants to stay with Columbus Crew

Columbus Crew superstar Cucho Hernandez reportedly wants to remain with the club for the 2025 season, amid reports that foreign clubs are closing in on the attacker.
According to Tom Bogart, the Colombian player is seeking a new contract with Crewe, although no offers have been made.
Hernandez played in 70 games for the Ohio club, posting an impressive 44 goals and 28 assists.
Alvaro Valereal to join Santos on loan from FC Cincinnati

FC Cincinnati forward Alvaro Barreal is reportedly set to join Brazilian club Santos, according to MLS Insider Tom Bogart.
The 24-year-old has been away from Cincinnati since a rift in his relationship with the club before the 2024 season and was loaned to Cruzeiro, where he had two goals and four assists in 28 Serie A games.
According to reports, the deal includes an extension with Cincinnati until 2026, with Santos having an option to buy the Argentine for $4 million after his loan expires.
Gento ‘negotiating’ to sign NYRB star Dante Vanzeil

Belgian club KAA Gent is in contract negotiations with New York Red Bulls forward Dante Vanzeil.
Gent’s sporting director Arnar Vidalsson confirmed the news on DAZN on Tuesday night.
The 26-year-old played in 32 games in 2025, scoring six goals and providing 11 assists as the Red Bulls finished runners-up in the MLS Cup.
LAFC to acquire Mark Delgado from rival LA Galaxy

Galaxy midfielder Mark Delgado is reported to be moving to Los Angeles rival LAFC with 110 points.
Tom Bogart reported that the two-time MLS Cup winner will be making the move to alleviate the salary cap issues looming for the current cup holders.
Delgado is an MLS player, and the 2025 season will be his 13th time in the league and his third time playing for a different team.
Orlando City in ‘advance negotiations’ to sign Marko Paลกiฤ

Orlando City are said to be in “advanced negotiations” to sign Croatian international Marko Paลกiฤ from Croatian club HNK Rijeka.
The 24-year-old winger has made 26 appearances for Rijeka this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists.
A deal is said to not have been reached at this time, but Orlando does have money available after selling Facundo Torres to Palmeiras this summer for up to $14 million.
Austin FC completes contract with Bethard Savovic

Austin FC has completed the signing of Swedish midfielder Bethard Savovic, acquiring the 27-year-old on a free transfer from Djurgรฅrdens.
Savovic becomes Austin’s third midfield addition this winter, joining Jiri Sanchez and Nicolas Dversarski. The Texas club also spent big on attackers Osman Bukari (summer slot) and Brandon Vazquez as it looks to rebuild under new head coach Nico Estevez.
Real Salt Lake signs veteran goalkeeper Rafael Cabral on a permanent contract

RSL have completed the signing of 34-year-old shot-stopper Rafael Cabral on a free transfer.
The Brazilian will sign a one-year contract with an option for a second year.
Cabral most recently played for Gremio, making six appearances in Serie A.
