For those who don’t know, Lexus is Toyota’s luxury brand. The brand is synonymous with highly regarded automobiles that are both reliable and stylish. For years, consumers have associated Lexus with luxury brands like Mercedes and BMW, and rightly so.
In today’s day and age, Lexus is one of the leading brands when it comes to technology, which brings me to the 2024 Lexus NX 450h+ F Sport. This compact luxury car has become famous for being powered by a 2.5L plug-in hybrid electric engine with a total horsepower of 304. The 450h+ F Sport delivers 84 mpg in hybrid mode and a competitive 36 mpg on gas-only.
Lexus safety systems offer lane tracing assist, road sign assist, and a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection. While driving, this characteristic became noticeable when I approached a red light while the car was stationary and the car began to slow down.
The interior features NuLuxe-trimmed heated power front seats with dual climate controls. Lexus also offers a 14-inch touchscreen display with Sirius XM with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality that relies on a 4G network.
Luxury doesn’t have to be big and outrageous. We’ve found it in a compact, luxury hybrid that offers safety and impressive fuel economy.
