NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A regional luxury bus company is offering a new route between Nashville and Knoxville for the upcoming Tennessee football game and more.
Von Lane has launched weekend service from Music City to Big Orange Country to support demand for easier travel within the state. The service will depart from each city on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during select weekends in fall 2024.
The schedule is directly tied to University of Tennessee home football games. This schedule also includes special options for Thanksgiving holiday travel.
“We’re excited to expand our service in Tennessee this fall to support our soccer- and music-loving passengers,” said Bon Lane Founder and CEO Alex Danza. “Our goal is to offer travelers an alternative to the hassle of driving for a weekend getaway. We know that it’s not just about getting to the destination, it’s about the journey. It’s a great experience to embark on an easy, comfortable and luxurious leisure trip.
The schedule is as follows.
Service date:
・October 11th to 13th (vs. Florida)
・October 18th-20th (vs. Alabama)
・November 1-3 (vs. Kentucky)
· November 8th to 10th (vs. MS State)
Departure time:
· Friday: 10 a.m. Nashville. 3 p.m. Knoxville
· Saturday: 9 a.m. Nashville. 2 p.m., Knoxville
· Sunday: 8 a.m. Nashville. 1pm Knoxville
· Travel time: 3 hours
Thanksgiving and Vanderbilt game schedule:
・November 27th, 29th, December 1st
· Depart: Nashville 10am. 3 p.m. Knoxville
One-way fares start at $120 if purchased more than a week in advance, $130 if purchased within a week, and $140 if purchased within 24 hours. The price is a flat rate and there are no additional fees or taxes, the company said.
“When we launched our Nashville to Atlanta service two years ago, the people of Tennessee welcomed us with open arms. Since that debut, we have continued to provide convenient, luxurious, nonstop In 2023, we introduced a Nashville-Memphis route, and in 2025 we added a permanent Nashville-Knoxville route. We plan to open the route,” Danza said.
