MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — You can now live right next to Oxford Valley Mall.
The luxury apartment complex known as Atlee Square is currently filling space in its first phase near the J.C. Penney store.
Atlee Square opened its apartments last week on the site of a former Boscov’s that was demolished to make way for the apartment project.

Located near Route 1 and Woodbourne Road, the four-story luxury apartment complex boasts a location that offers “easy access to countless culinary destinations.”
According to the Atlee Square website, the area is close to local breweries, diverse restaurants, historic inns and wineries, and upscale supermarkets.
Amenities include spacious green spaces, including two spacious courtyards with numerous opportunities for enjoyment and relaxation.

Plans for the project were first approved by Middletown County Supervisors in 2020.
Officials hope the project will boost retail revenue at the mall, which was built in 1973 and is one of the largest in the country.
The second phase of the project will feature 223 apartments, with construction expected to be completed by January 2025.
