The 2024 Little League World Series will conclude on Sunday, with the championship and third-place games wrapping up the world’s premier youth baseball tournament.
Chinese Taipei and Florida will battle it out for the title at Lamade Stadium after two very different victories on Saturday, when Chinese Taipei used strong pitching and solid defense to beat Venezuela, 4-1, and move closer to claiming its 18th LLWS title as Asia-Pacific’s representative.
Meanwhile, Florida trailed 4-0 and 7-5, but used a wild 4-run sixth inning to beat Texas 10-7. An emotional and dramatic game may be what gives Florida the final victory. This will be the ninth time a Florida team has played in the LLWS championship game, but they have finished second in all eight previous games.
Venezuela and Texas aren’t done yet, as a Sunday morning doubleheader kicks off the third-place game.
