The Kenmare Bowbells traveled to Bishop Ryan High School to take on the Lions on Tuesday night. The Honkers took the Lions to three sets and took the first set 25-14. The Lions struggled in the second set, but ended up losing 25-20. The Honkers won the third set 25-15.
Kenmare Bowbells won the match 3-0.
In the win, Honkers senior Presley Seltinger led the team with 37 assists and 12 digs. Senior Ann Stroklund had 15 kills and one block. Junior Taya Outfors had 12 kills and three aces.
Bishop Ryan senior Cambree Johannes had 10 assists and two aces. Junior Bentley Schneider had four kills, two aces and one block. Junior Tochi Udekwe had five kills and 10 digs.
Bishop Ryan is a solid No. 6 seed in District 6 and the 12th seed, while the Kenmare Bowbells are the top seed in District 8 and District 16 as the regular season draws to a close. This game was the preseason game for both teams.
Nedrose 3, Garrison 0
The Nedrose volleyball team traveled to Garrison for a Class B match and defeated the Troopers 25-15, 25-19, 25-14 for the road championship.
Garrison will welcome Ray on Thursday, Oct. 24, and Nedrose will welcome Berthold the same day.
Central McLean 3, Glenburn 0
Glenburn traveled to play Central McLean, which ranked third in Class B volleyball. The hosts won the three games with scores of 25-7, 25-7 and 25-16.
Vreva 3, Bottineau 1
Verva went to Bottineau for a Class B volleyball game. While Bottineau’s host team competed in each frame, the visiting team won the contest by scores of 25-21, 17-25, 25-23, 25-23.
The Lady Aggies will travel to Dellac Burlington on Thursday, Oct. 24, and the Stars will travel to North Prairie for their final regular season game on Monday, Oct. 28.
Ray 3, Tioga 0
Ray traveled to play against its Tioga neighbors and returned with a 25-16, 25-21, 25-20 win in Class B Region 8, District 16 volleyball. The road win moved Ray one step closer to becoming the second seed for district postseason play, as both teams were competing with Powers Lake Burke Central for the second, third and fourth seeds.

The Lady Ranchers hosted the Braves with a 25-12, 25-7, 25-14 victory over visiting Parshall, preserving their home court and their chance to be seeded. The win puts Powers Lake Burke Central in contention with Ray for second place in Region 8, District 16 with one game remaining.
