Assembly is very easy and the instructions are easy to follow. My 10 year old son helped me put it together. We assembled the base part in the basement and finished the final parts, which are the poles and backboard/rim, on the lawn.
We recommend tilting the hoop to the side for final assembly. I did it on the lawn so as not to damage it. When filled with water, it is heavy so it won’t blow away even in strong winds. Very happy with my purchase! Assembly time is approximately 45 minutes or less.
