NEW DELHI: Lexus will celebrate 35 years of luxury heritage, showcasing a captivating blend of history and innovation at the prestigious Monterey Car Week 2024. Set against the backdrop of Pebble Beach, the brand’s activation space will feature a retrospective of iconic vehicles such as the 1990 Lexus LS400, as well as the North American debut of its latest futuristic concepts, the LF-ZC and LF-ZL.
Lexus’ Future Zero Emission Concept
The LF-ZC (Lexus Future Zero-emission Catalyst) and LF-ZL (Lexus Future Zero-emission Luxury) concepts are at the forefront of Lexus’ vision for the future of luxury vehicles. These next-generation battery electric vehicles (BEVs) embody the brand’s ambition to make luxury cars more personal through the integration of advanced technologies. Both models feature a fully digitalized intelligent cockpit designed to enhance the driving experience by providing intuitive access to essential controls. The concepts also preview the Arene Operating System (OS), which aims to deliver a highly personalized driving experience by learning and anticipating each driver’s needs.
Lexus LS400
The event also evokes the original 1990 commercial for the Lexus LS 400, with its famous scene featuring a pyramid of champagne glasses balancing on the hood while accelerating to 145 mph – an iconic moment that highlights the precision and refinement that has become synonymous with the Lexus brand.
Other Lexus Vehicles
Visitors to the showroom can also explore a variety of current Lexus models, from the GX 550 Luxury+ Malbon Concept to the high-performance RC F GT3. The Lexus Drive Experience, running August 17-19, will allow visitors to test drive models such as the GX 550, IS 500 and LC 500 in the beautiful Pebble Beach Resort community.
To conclude the weekend, Lexus will host a charity raffle to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County on August 18. One lucky winner will receive a two-year lease on a 2024 Lexus GX 550 Premium, highlighting the brand’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the local community.
