FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – The owner of Kones Kreamery in Fargo is selling the store to help fund an embryo adoption journey with his wife.
Owner Brady Hand said he and his wife had been undergoing fertility treatments for about four years after two unsuccessful IVF attempts and were considering an embryo transfer, leading to the decision. Hand left a career in human resources to open the store in 2019. In a statement, Hand said:
“Conness Creamery has been my passion for the past few years but now it’s time to focus on growing our family. By selling the business I hope to be able to raise funds for our embryo adoptions and give another couple’s frozen embryos a chance at life.”
Located at 150 45th St S, Suite 120 in Fargo, the shop has been a neighborhood staple for five years. Customers can choose from bubble tea, bubble waffles and gelato. The shop is especially known for its gelato animal faces.
“It is bittersweet to say goodbye to Conness Creamery, but we look forward to the next chapter in our lives and the future of the business under new ownership,” Hand added.
Anyone interested in purchasing the store can email Brad or call him at 701-367-3263. They can also send a message to the Kones Kreamery Facebook page.’
