The KNIA/KRLS Home Shopping Extravaganza returns Tuesday for the first day of its three-day run.
Participants can call the studio and purchase items at discounts from local businesses and those around the Midwest, including restaurant and retail gift certificates, car service, hotel accommodations and entertainment. KNIA/KRLS Home Shopping Extravaganza hours are 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. KNIA/KRLS Sales Manager Trevor Castle has been involved with the Home Shopping Extravaganza for about 20 years and says it’s a great event for all involved.
“If you’ve never tuned in or heard about Home Shopping, what you’ll be hearing starting next Tuesday is Spencer and I will be on-air for six hours a day taking calls. All you have to do is call in, join us live on-air, and check off your shopping list and what you want to buy. Different items will have different discounts and as the event progresses the discounts will get bigger meaning items will get cheaper, but this is the law of supply and demand. If something is sold out at 30% off, it’s sold out and you won’t be able to get it at 50% off anymore.”
