Kentucky Fried Chicken is uprooted from its ancestors’ homelands in a shakeup announced Tuesday by the parent company that will relocate the chain’s US corporate office to Texas.

“I asked to meet with Yum’s CEO immediately, and Am Am Heartened Yum will hold its headquarters and 560 employees here,” Greenberg said in his statement. “I will continue to work tirelessly with Yam’s leadership to continue to increase my presence in Louisville.”
Employees who are being shifted will receive support for relocation and transition, the company said.
Yum said designating two brand headquarters is intended to promote greater collaboration between the brand and its employees.
