Teams will be required to publicly share injury reports before each SEC game, a new change heading into the fall 2024 college football season. After nine Kentucky players filed their first availability reports of the week on Wednesday, 10 Wildcats were included in the list updated Thursday night.
In the availability report, players must be listed as Out (0% chance to play), Questionable (25% chance to play), Doubtful (50% chance to play), or Possible (75% chance to play). there is. Once again, this week’s injury report includes multiple Kentucky starters.
The only addition in Thursday night’s update is offensive lineman Gerald Mincey, who is listed as a likely addition. Defensive back Maxwell Hairston remains sidelined. But there was also good news.
Running back Chip Trayanum, defensive back Tellyon Nichols and kicker Jacob Cowe have all been elevated from questionable to probable, so there’s a good chance we’ll see them play against the Gators. As for Trayanum, it looks like he will make his season debut in the next few days.

Another availability report is expected to be published Friday night. The final report is expected 90 minutes before the Wildcats play the Gators in Gainesville on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7:45pm EST on SEC Network.
Florida still has 16 players on its availability report.
The same 16 Florida players listed in Wednesday night’s report were also listed in Thursday night’s report. Their status didn’t change either. With starting quarterback Graham Mertz out for the season, the Gators may not have RB1 Montrell Johnson Jr. in the lineup against Kentucky.
