Kendall Jenner kept the quiet luxury trend alive and well with two new looks that debuted at Paris Fashion Week yesterday.
The model started the day in a monochromatic blue look. The sophisticated set consisted of a corseted long-sleeve top with feminine draped detailing at the neckline, paired with a midi-length pencil skirt that was gathered at the side of the waist. Jenner teamed the outfit with a matching blue umbrella, black rectangular sunglasses, and black leather pumps.
Jenner then changed into a dark navy look by The Row consisting of a chic shift dress. The top half was a textured tunic with a distressed hemline, and underneath was a sheer, see-through skirt. She styled the outfit with more black accents, including oversized thick-rimmed sunglasses, a small leather clutch, and satin pointy-toed pumps.
Jenner has said for years that the concept of “quiet luxury” has been a consistent theme in her wardrobe. “I think if you look back, you’ll see that there’s always been an aspect of that in my style,” she said in a 2023 interview. “But I feel like I’ve been very versatile throughout my life. I love the elegance of certain things, but I also embrace the easy, comfortable, cool-girl vibe. I love cinched-in styles, but I also love loose styles.”
“I look at Jane Birkin a lot. She was super cool and elegant, but also super sexy. She would sometimes wear see-through clothes, exposing her boobs and butt, and I love that. She really wasn’t afraid to take risks.”
