Local police in Chile have discovered three watches from John Wick actor Keanu Reeves’ luxury watch collection that were allegedly stolen during a break-in at his Los Angeles home in late 2023, according to a report. did.
The watches were discovered when Chilean authorities searched several homes of suspected robbers as part of a joint investigation with U.S. law enforcement officials.
CNN Chile reported that the Rolex Submariner watch recovered during Saturday’s raid, estimated to have a value of about $9,000, had Reeves’ first name on the watchband and the words “2021, JW4, Thank you.” It had the words “John Wick Five” engraved on it.
Reeves gave the same type of watch to a stuntman who worked on “John Wick: Chapter 4” in 2021.
Chilean authorities said they had found jewelry and other “precious” watches during searches of four homes.
CNN Chile reports that one of the watches found belonged to a “famous actor who was the victim of a robbery in Los Angeles in December 2023.”
Chilean authorities were working with U.S. authorities to link the watch to a robbery at Reeves’ home in 2023.
For years, the actor’s home has been a hotspot for attempted break-ins, sometimes by devoted fans trespassing on the property, and sometimes by real criminals intent on looting.
In 2014, his home was broken into twice in just three days.
Previously, only one gun was confirmed stolen in a 2023 break-in in which a group of masked men broke a window to gain entry.
Police arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the attack, CNN Chile reported.
