After India’s Origin Kash Patel was confirmed by the Senate as director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on Thursday, Patel expressed his gratitude, stating that the agency was “transparent, accountable and just. I vowed to rebuild it into something that I am committed to.
Patel thanked President Donald Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi for their support and emphasized his commitment to restoring public confidence in the FBI.
Sharing X’s post, Patel said, “I am honored to be confirmed as the ninth director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I would like to thank President Trump and the Attorney General for their unwavering confidence and support.”
He said, “The FBI has a renowned heritage. To protect our country from ‘G-Men’ in the wake of 9/11, Americans are transparent, accountable and committed to justice. It deserves the FBI. Politicization deserves politicization. Our judicial system erodes public trust, but today is over. ”
Patel has vowed to rebuild the FBI into an organization that Americans are proud of.

Kash Patel, President Donald Trump’s ally, was confirmed by the Senate on Thursday as director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), according to NBC News.
The nomination faced opposition from Republican Sen. Lisa Markovsky of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine, but Patel was a Senate minority leader Mitch, who previously opposed other Trump candidates. He received support from the rest of the Republican Party, including McConnell.
Confirmation passed narrowly 51-49 votes as all Senate Democrats voted against him.
