Jennifer Garner looked in good spirits while shopping with her 12-year-old son Samuel in Los Angeles.
The “13 Going on 30” star was photographed on Sunday blowing a giant gum bubble as he pushed a cart full of groceries into his car.
At some point, the actress seemed to realize that she had forgotten something on the list and rushed back home while her son remained.

Within minutes, Garner came out of the store with a big smile on his face and what appeared to be a bag of potato chips under his arm.
The “Alias” alum, 52, stepped out in a striped T-shirt, black cardigan, jeans and sneakers.
She had her hair tied back in a ponytail and wore black sunglasses.

Samuel was wearing green plaid pajama pants and a T-shirt.
Garner has two sons, Violet, 18, and Seraphina, 15, with ex-husband Ben Affleck.
The ex-lovers, who were married from 2005 to 2015, maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship of their three children.

Garner and Affleck recently spent some quality time together when they dropped off Violet at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut in August.
That same month, the “Daredevil” actress also visited Affleck for his birthday, just days before his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce on Aug. 20.
Lopez, 55, and Affleck, 52, had been quietly separated since April after marrying in July 2022.

Garner reportedly encouraged Affleck to “work on his marriage” before the Lopezes announced their divorce.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer also reportedly confided in Garner about her marital problems with the “Gone Girl” actor.
Despite filing for divorce, Lopez and Affleck have since reunited with their blended family and were even spotted packing on the PDA in September.
