The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that it is accepting nominations for a community award to be presented at the annual Chamber Banquet on January 23rd.
Nominations are being solicited in three categories: Young Professional of the Year, Above & Beyond Award, and Outstanding Citizen of the Year. These awards recognize individuals who have gone the extra mile to positively impact Jamestown.
Young Professional of the Year: Administered by Young Professionals of Jamestown, this award recognizes a young leader (age 40 or younger) who has helped connect, inspire, and empower other young professionals in the community. I praise you. Above & Beyond Award: This award recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond their normal responsibilities to make Jamestown a better place and have demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication in the business community. Citizen of the Year Award: This is the Chamber’s highest honor, recognizing individuals who have made significant lifetime contributions to improving the quality of our city. Life in Jamestown.
In addition, the Business of the Year award will be selected from among the 2024 Business of the Month winners and will highlight companies that have demonstrated good business practices and community involvement.
